Notation at the end "CAPIAS ISSUED" means that a
warrant
was issued for his
arrest.
This citation is for driving without a
license. Since Asensio did
not have the usual form of identification with
him it seems
probable that the information here is what he
provided orally.
The birthdate is incorrect--it should be
12/30/54. His middle
initial, which he normally uses, is
missing. The address was not
his, but that of his uncle, Abilio Hernandez,
Sr.
A single inaccuracy might be attributed to court
error. But three
inconsistencies with the identifying
characteristics of the real
Manuel P. Asensio and its
hard not
to suspect that this was
a
deliberate effort to
avoid bringing
up the outstanding warrant
for his arrest. It would have been
triggered if he had revealed
his full name, true birthdate, or true
address, and he
would
probably have spent
a night in
jail.
